These Terms govern your use of TurkishFriend.com ("TurkishFriend," "we," "us"). By creating a chat session or purchasing a pass, you agree to them.
TurkishFriend is an AI-powered conversational product. Leyla, Mehmet, and Demir are AI-generated conversational personas — not real people you are communicating with directly, not human guides, not travel agents, and not licensed advisors. While their character and perspective are inspired by real Turkish family life and culture, every reply is generated by artificial intelligence, not typed by a human, and is based on an AI language model rather than real-time data.
Nothing Leyla, Mehmet, or Demir tells you is professional advice. This includes — without limitation — medical, legal, financial, investment, immigration, tax, insurance, property, business, and safety matters:
We do not guarantee that any recommendation will match your expectations, taste, or budget, or that it reflects current prices, availability, opening hours, or quality. AI can make mistakes — double-check anything important before you rely on it, the same way you'd double-check a tip from a friend.
All decisions you make based on a conversation with TurkishFriend — where you go, what you book, what you spend — remain solely your responsibility.
TurkishFriend must never be used during a medical, safety, or other emergency. If you need urgent help, contact local emergency services directly.
Each persona is unlocked with a one-time, 10-day pass — a single payment at the price shown at checkout, with no auto-renewal and nothing to cancel later. The price shown includes any VAT/sales tax applicable to your country, calculated automatically at checkout. If you buy a new pass for a persona while an earlier one still has time left, the new 10 days are added on top of what remains, so buying early never costs you paid-for time. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details. See our Refund Policy for how refunds work.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to purchase a pass.
We may suspend or refuse access, without refund, for spam, abuse, prompt injection, reverse-engineering, unauthorized automation or bot activity, or fraudulent chargebacks.
We may retain your conversation history to improve the continuity of your experience — so a persona can pick up where you left off. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Some businesses recommended by TurkishFriend may have a commercial relationship with us. Such a relationship never guarantees a recommendation — our personas are instructed to recommend based primarily on relevance to what you actually asked, not on who pays us.
The TurkishFriend name and logo, the personas Leyla, Mehmet, and Demir, and the underlying character design and prompts are the property of TurkishFriend. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative products from them without our written permission.
TurkishFriend is provided "as is." AI-generated content can be inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete, and AI sometimes makes mistakes. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we're not liable for decisions made based on it, or for indirect or consequential losses.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of TurkishFriend shall never exceed the amount you paid for the specific pass giving rise to the claim.
We're not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including outages of services we depend on (such as Stripe, Supabase, Cloudflare, or OpenAI).
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of TurkishFriend will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Istanbul, Türkiye — subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your own country that cannot be waived by agreement.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, are the entire agreement between you and TurkishFriend on this subject. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision isn't a waiver of our right to do so later.
We may update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date above will change when we do. Continued use after a change means you accept the update.
